Ellby is a funkalicious bedroom artist who really came into their own last year with their LP "Sea Of Ghosts". Night Society feels like the logical progression of the muted synth grooves and experimental pizzaz from that album. This ambitious 4-song undertaking slices through with a crisp new production style that brings the nocturnal textures and hypnotic drum loops to life. Night Society is a lovely new realization of Ellby's vision and a hit for fans of all things indie.

(My favorite track is Hypothermia. I love the high notes in the chorus.)
